1. Purpose of This Policy
This Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how Upward Credit Solutions handles refunds, cancellations, digital product access, coaching billing, subscriptions, affiliate-related refunds, chargebacks, commission reversals, and customer billing disputes.
This policy is designed to apply across UCS websites, checkout pages, course pages, webinar pages, affiliate pages, onboarding emails, and customer support communications.
UCS provides education, coaching support, budgeting guidance, financial organization tools, and lender-readiness education. UCS is not a credit repair company, lender, bank, mortgage company, broker, or funding provider. UCS does not guarantee approvals, funding, specific credit score outcomes, affiliate earnings, or other financial results.
2. Products and Services Covered
This policy applies to UCS digital products, courses, downloads, templates, calculators, worksheets, PDFs, videos, toolkits, webinars, coaching services, assessments, planning sessions, memberships, subscriptions, affiliate-linked purchases, and related educational services.
Separate written terms may apply to business setup services, consulting services, concierge services, or custom services if those terms are provided at checkout, by invoice, or in a written service agreement.
3. Digital Products, Courses, Downloads, and Toolkits
All digital product sales are final once the product has been accessed, downloaded, materially accessed, viewed, started, or otherwise used.
If a customer has not accessed the digital product, download, course, toolkit, template, video, worksheet, or related material, the customer may request a refund within seven (7) calendar days of purchase.
If course access has started, course progress has been recorded, a download has occurred, a template has been accessed, or digital materials have been materially accessed, the purchase is non-refundable.
Bundles are refundable only if no included digital item has been accessed, downloaded, opened, viewed, started, or otherwise used. If any included digital item has been accessed, no partial refund is available unless UCS approves an exception in writing.
4. Pathway to Homeownership Course
The Pathway to Homeownership course is an educational course focused on lender-readiness, budgeting behavior, financial organization, and consumer preparation.
The standard course price is currently $297 unless modified by an official UCS promotion, coupon, webinar offer, or written checkout offer.
Course purchases follow the digital product rules in this policy. If the course has not been accessed, the customer may request a refund within seven (7) calendar days of purchase. Once material course access or course progress has occurred, the course purchase is final and non-refundable.
Course enrollment does not guarantee loan approval, credit approval, funding, home purchase eligibility, specific credit score outcomes, debt reduction, income increase, or any other financial result.
5. Coaching, Assessments, and Session-Based Services
Coaching is separate from the UCS course unless a checkout page or written UCS offer states that coaching is included in a specific bundle.
Standard coaching may be billed month-to-month at $50 per month unless another amount is stated at checkout or in a written UCS offer.
Payment covers access to coaching support for the current paid month.
Customers may cancel coaching at any time to stop future monthly charges.
Cancellation must occur before the next billing date to avoid being charged for the upcoming month.
If a customer cancels after paying for the current month, access may continue through the end of that paid month, but no prorated refund is provided for unused coaching time.
No-shows, missed sessions, late cancellations, unused coaching access, or failure to schedule available coaching time may be treated as delivered and are not refundable unless UCS approves an exception in writing.
6. Memberships and Subscriptions
If UCS offers a membership, subscription, portal, recurring program, or community access, the customer may cancel future billing from the account portal where available or by contacting UCS support.
Access generally remains available through the end of the current paid period after cancellation.
No prorated refunds are issued for partial months, partial billing periods, unused membership access, unused subscription access, or unused portal access unless required by law or approved by UCS in writing.
Annual plans may include a seven (7) calendar day refund review period only if no materials, lessons, downloads, templates, or resources have been accessed. After the refund review period or after access occurs, annual plans are non-refundable unless UCS approves an exception in writing.
If a free trial is offered, the customer is responsible for cancelling before the trial end date to avoid being charged. The billing date and trial terms stated at checkout control the trial.
7. Webinars and Educational Events
UCS may host webinars, workshops, affiliate orientations, customer education sessions, or other educational events.
Free webinar registrations do not create a refund right because no payment is collected for the free registration.
Paid webinars or paid educational events are refundable only if the refund terms stated on the event page or checkout page allow a refund.
If a webinar or educational event includes access to a replay, downloadable materials, a course, a toolkit, or digital resources, refund eligibility may end once those materials are accessed.
Event participation does not guarantee course purchase outcomes, coaching outcomes, loan approval, credit approval, funding, specific credit score outcomes, affiliate approval, affiliate sales, or affiliate commissions.
8. Business Setup, Consulting, Concierge, and Custom Services
Business setup services, consulting services, concierge services, custom services, implementation support, or special projects may have separate refund and cancellation terms.
If a service requires a deposit, the deposit may be non-refundable once work has started, setup has begun, planning has been completed, deliverables have been prepared, or internal time has been reserved.
If no separate written refund term is provided, UCS may review refund requests case by case based on work completed, access provided, time reserved, and deliverables prepared.
Affiliate commissions do not apply to business setup services, consulting services, concierge services, coaching services, or unrelated services unless UCS officially states otherwise in writing.
9. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation
To request a refund or cancellation, email support@upwardcreditsolutions.com with the following information: full name, email used at checkout, order number if available, product or service name, date of purchase, reason for the request, and for services, the scheduled session date and time if applicable.
Refund and cancellation requests must be submitted within the applicable refund window. Requests submitted after the applicable refund window may be denied.
UCS generally responds to refund and cancellation requests within two (2) business days. Response time may vary during weekends, holidays, system outages, or periods of high support volume.
10. Approved Refund Processing
Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method used at checkout unless another method is required by the payment processor or approved by UCS.
Once UCS submits an approved refund, the payment processor, card issuer, or financial institution controls the timing of when funds appear in the customer account.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment method, card issuer, bank, or payment processor.
UCS is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, payment processors, or third-party platforms after UCS has submitted the approved refund.
11. Chargebacks and Billing Disputes
Customers should contact UCS support first before filing a chargeback or payment dispute. Many billing questions, duplicate charges, access issues, or cancellation concerns can be resolved directly through UCS support.
Filing a chargeback before contacting UCS may delay resolution because the payment processor or financial institution may control the dispute timeline once the chargeback is filed.
Chargeback abuse, fraudulent disputes, duplicate refund attempts, false claims, or repeated payment disputes may result in account suspension, termination of access, cancellation of services, removal from affiliate participation, or denial of future purchases.
A successful chargeback, refund, duplicate charge reversal, fraud review, or payment reversal may void or reverse any related affiliate commission.
12. Affiliate-Linked Purchases and Customer Refunds
Customers who purchase through an affiliate link receive the same refund and cancellation rights as customers who purchase directly from UCS.
If a customer receives a refund on an affiliate-linked purchase, any related affiliate commission may be voided, reversed, cancelled, withheld, or clawed back according to UCS affiliate policies.
Refunds, duplicate charges, billing corrections, fraud reviews, chargebacks, payment disputes, and other reversals may affect affiliate commission eligibility.
Affiliates do not control customer refund decisions. UCS determines refund eligibility based on this policy, checkout terms, affiliate terms, transaction records, access records, and applicable law.
13. Affiliate Commission Holds, Reversals, and Clawbacks
UCS uses a forty-five (45) day commission hold period to allow time for refund requests, chargebacks, payment disputes, fraud reviews, attribution reviews, and transaction verification.
If a customer refund, chargeback, billing reversal, or fraud issue occurs during the hold period, the related affiliate commission is not paid.
If a refund, chargeback, billing reversal, or fraud issue occurs after a commission has already been paid, UCS may deduct the amount from future commissions, offset it against future payouts, or invoice the affiliate for reimbursement where appropriate.
No commissions are paid on refunded purchases, chargebacks, fraudulent transactions, self-purchases, household payment method purchases, duplicate transactions, unqualified sales, or transactions that violate UCS affiliate terms.
UCS reserves the right to review, delay, deny, reverse, or claw back commissions connected to suspicious activity, coupon abuse, unauthorized claims, prohibited marketing, incorrect attribution, policy violations, or customer refund activity.
14. Self-Purchases and Household Payment Methods
Affiliates may not earn commissions on their own purchases.
Affiliates may not earn commissions on purchases made with their own payment method, household payment method, shared card, shared account, or other payment method that UCS reasonably determines is connected to the affiliate.
Self-purchase or household purchase commissions may be voided, withheld, reversed, or clawed back.
15. No Guarantee of Outcomes
UCS does not guarantee loan approval, credit approval, funding, homeownership eligibility, lender acceptance, specific credit score outcomes, debt reduction, income improvement, business results, affiliate sales, affiliate commissions, or any specific financial outcome.
Customer outcomes depend on individual circumstances, participation, budgeting behavior, income, debt, documentation, lender guidelines, credit profile, account history, timing, market conditions, and other factors outside UCS control.
Affiliate earnings depend on individual effort, compliant promotion, audience fit, approved messaging, traffic, follow-up, sales conversion, refund activity, chargeback activity, and proper attribution. UCS does not guarantee affiliate earnings.
16. Exceptions
UCS may approve an exception to this policy at its sole discretion when appropriate.
An exception granted in one case does not create a right to an exception in another case and does not waive UCS’s right to enforce this policy in the future.
Any exception should be documented in writing by UCS.
17. Policy Changes
UCS may update this Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.
Updated versions may be posted on the UCS website, checkout pages, customer pages, affiliate pages, onboarding materials, or other official UCS locations.
The policy version posted at the time of purchase generally governs that purchase unless applicable law requires otherwise or UCS approves a written exception.
